boat accidents seem to happen to a lot of " former " gun owners. LOL

Update on post #4
Just returned from the range......I put 100 rounds thriugh my new Ruger SR9c. What a great pistol! It had no mishaps with 115gr Winchester FMJs and it is accurate. It felt great in my hand and the recoil was very cintrolable. The sights were easy to allign and easy to bring up to target. The trigger is a bit heavy (8lbs I believe), but predictable and identicle on every pull. I'll end up removing the MD safety and instaling a lighter trigger group, but other than that its perfect.
Also put a scope on the 10 22. I had to walk the zero in little by little, but I was finally able to dial it in. My brother shot the 10 22 the most as I was enjoying my SR9c. Alltho I like the scope on the 10 22, I also like shooting it with the iron sites. So, I am going to look into some see through rings and a cheak pad for the butt.
We were shooting mostly metal targets so no pictures this time.
This bad boy arrived yesterday and today I got the chance to break it down and clean all the cosmolene off of it and oil it up. It's a 1934 Russian Mosin Nagant 91/30. I figured I would pick it up before the price went up (which it did), it's a fun rifle to shoot and have (cool history). Anywho, here are a couple of pics.

I used the SR9c as a size comparison for the pics.
Excellent work Comrade! I see you're prepared to repel Cossacks now! :p
Still has bayonet attachment, that is cool...
I have one suggestion to make about that rifle, The safetys are a pain to operate but there are people making a replacement safety which has a ring on it so you can put your finger inside and pull back. Makes it much more useful. Looks nice.
