After seeing the prices posted above for the heater lines I'm just going to splice them together in the engine bay with a barbed fitting. Will post up my results tonight.

The size for the heater lines is 3/4" for future reference.
I only bought a 1/2" barbed fitting so I had to improvise...I'll let the pictures do the talking. Total cost $0.00. :D

I still have to crimp the cut lines and do some pinch weld trimming but I'm almost there. :D

I'm liken the costs listed 0 > $4. !
Just make sure you don't have any kinks like I do in that last pic, I added some more hose clamps in the kinked areas to open them back up. I might revise this in the future but it should do for now.
If / when I consider this mod, I might also check at the local junk yard ( sorry... I mean salvage yard, auto recycling center or automotive regeneration facilitating pre-owned parts purveyor ) for the A/C hoses.
