You could prolly fit two mufflers in the same area that the large stock muffler is mounted. Just stagger them and run a pipe to each.
Thats what Im thinking, Im going to be talking to my shop to see what we can do have to get underneath and see.. Im also considering doing an open exhaust with resonators in place of mufflers, I know this will be LOUD but who doesnt like that HEMI sound
Put the resonators (or mufflers) back where the spare tire "was" and make a skid plate that mounts to the rear supports to protect them.
Then you can throw some dynomat down in the cargo area and I bet interior drone wont be too bad...
So run straight pipes to the spare tire area, weld mufflers/resonators in place dynomat the underside..??? Hhhhmmmm might be on to something here..
I like the direction this one is going
Exactly, and skid plate protection beneath that'll be easy to make.....
Lol I may even look into doing this!
I like where this is going to, this is why I love this forum so much, a bad idea turned into a great one!!! Im going to look underneath this weekend, instead of doing resonators which Ive researched and seems like over kill, Im considering the Flowmaster Super 10 series, staggered in stock location or in spare tire location..

Check with the exhaust shop.... but you need to be careful staggering. You could end up with two different exhaust tones that, when combined, sound horrible.
The goal is to keep pipe lengths as close to equal as possible.
