I understand & thats different account & I would be dead if I were to even thimk about touching it lol
Hey I wonder if Doc can make the weld on Beadlocks for a steel wheel. You could have a custom ring on the outside, and they would be effective.
I have a person in my 4x4 club out of OR that is making beadlocks if you have steel wheels, but I have yet to find steel wheels that will fit on the XK. (to be honest I haven't really looked hard either. I bent one of my rims so need to either get that repaired or replace it.
Redbulljoker from the "other forum" had a set of 17 inch black steel wheels. I'll try to find who made them though, just came accross a thread on a different sight that had beadlocks for under $500 total with the wheels. I like the look of them, and they are functional too
love to see the info on those
Wooohooo Pulled the trigger on a set of Allied 32 bold beadlocks. As long as they ballance well and hold air without problems, Iam ordering a set for the XK too
Sweet! Which ones did you get? Width/backspace?

Last weekend a poped a bead and it looks like one of the wheels actually turned on the rim. rides like crap now. My old lady gave me approval, adn i didnt hesitate
Damnit I checked the website and saw the RT233 which look awesome and are 17x8.5 with 4.75" backspace (not much worse than my current setup).... but they're all "not DOT approved for highway use" and they also seem to state a max pressure of 25 psi.
....my search continues
