Yeah I actually have the full FOX catalog with all the specs. The 980-02-039-A are the resi version.
I wondered if JBA ordered them specifically for the xk/wk upper shock mount. Either way their prices are on par with other sites. They just wouldn't tell me what valving they specify which is understandable.
There are the 980-02-038-A non resi.. As I said Im not expecting any additional lift but if that happens great, I needed new rears so these seemed worth the extra coin..
I hear ya. Was just saying thats the equivalent resi part number. Its the same overall shock with the addition of the external reservoir. Functionally identical.... lol just more bling (unless I can add the compression adjuster)
Are these direct bolt on? Proper eye sizes and all??
They should be I spoke with jba I'm assuming they'd be direct bolt on..

EAD Offroad has a great price on these shocks, specifically the resi version with C/D adjuster. I'm exchanging emails with FOX now to dial in the valving and I may be ordering these today....
How easily can these be redialed?

i personally would carry them to an offroad shop and have them dialed. There are 3-4 shops here in NC that do it.
