Leaving work soon...

Hurry up!
Drove by but for the first time in history Doc went home early and I fould a locked door, I guess I will swing by tomorrow.
Could you see your rig through any windows??? spy shots??
DAMN YOU DOC!!!
just kidding hope you enjoyed your night off.
Thats just messed up
I think I might have to take a long lunch and go by, not sure I want to wait until after work :)
Sounds doubley good to me!
Sucks being on the East coast... hell it's still morning here, which means your lunch is even further away!
You should go visit Doc for breakfast!
Went by today and took a couple of photos with my HTC Thunderbolt!
The first one is the plate that will bolt to the fender using the OEM mounting holes:

The second one is of Doc holding the outer pipe (this is all the further he got because he was waiting for my approval of the size):

Doc will cap this off with sheet metal and bolt it on using bolts that match the OEM fender bolts.
Wow.... i have a feeling this is going to look better than i expected...
Any idea how that roof rack is coming that he's been working on for that other member? I bumped the thread a few times.... but nothin.
Oh boy I'm getting excited those are going to look sick. Now if you guys can finish before I spend all my money again that would be great. :)
Im excited. Excuse me...got to use the bathroom....
That's be great. Here's the thread: http://www.xk-forum.com/showthread.p...Soup-roof-rack
Last i heard he was working on making better mounts and a bit lower profile.
I cant wait to see the final product on the fenders.
Those are really cool, what finish are you using on them?
I like these. I may swing by and check them out if they're still there tomorrow
I would go with the black for just the reason that you mentioned. Easy to touch up.
Bedline it black.....?....
i am way too impatient for this...
The water-jet company is making the mounting plates today and they fenders will be finished, painted and installed by Wednesday night.
Don't. You dissappoint!
Wednesday it is.... i'll continue sitting here [somewhat] patiently...
Hey, ever ask Doc about the roof rack? Never got to see a finished product
first of all, these will not weaken the fenders, but make them much stronger. the tube has a much greater structural integrity than the sheet metal and plastic. these are currently in the second beta and are a bit of a "hi-line" with a little arch in the center. the stock size is just shy of 3" and i'm going to make this set about two inches wider. the material is at the waterjet shop being cut as we speak and i'll be heading out about 5am to make the trip across town, beat traffic & make it to the shop and get crackin'. i hate bed liner and don't know what everyone's obsession is with coating everything but a truck bed with it. it is heavy, collects dirt and mud, is very difficult to clean and impossible to touch up, not to mention once you chip or scratch it it will continue to peel away.
that roll-on crap sucks. I have had to do several bed jobs with it and it is a total waste of money.
