Looks great man, Really really clean though, lol. I think you are missing some dents and dirt on there. How bad was that to install?

Looks great bro!
Belly guard install is easy.... 20-30 min max
Sounds like a lot of us had a busy jeep day yesterday:cool:
Man I've been way more than "Jeep" busy... we have friends from Maryland visiting, they drove up Friday and are heading home tomorrow.... they have a 4 year old daughter and 3 year old twins, so I've had a packed/busy house.
I think my buddy with the black WK is going to come over tomorrow... I need to help him with his pinch weld and he may give me a hand installing the sliders.
Awesome, Matt! Bring it out west!
Rock rails installed: click here for thread
... the ONLY thing i wish i had now is a more aggressive set of tires. Don't get me wrong, the AT2's are awesome... but when we got them my wife was using the Xk as her DD so we kept the size slightly smaller and went with an AT tread instead of MT. Now that it's my DD (much shorter commute), and that i've taken it over as my "hobby" (i always have a car im working on), i wish I would've went with something like the Duratrac, ATZ or even the KM2...
Got some parts in today. Now i just have to wait (im)patiently for my front OME springs/struts. Then no more sagging!!
https://theultimatejeep.com/images/i...15171940-1.jpg
What are they?
KYB Strut mounts, spring seats and jounce bumeprs. Picked them up from the shop i used to work at for a discounted rate. When the OME struts/springs get here i'm going to assemble/replace the entire unit so i don't have to take the OEM ones apart at all.
thanks man
I've been modifying vehicles for a long time.. so i know the pain of "wishing i would have done something different" all too well. I also lucked out... forgot that the end of this month we have my son scheduled for one week of "vacation" from daycare (we get 2 "vacation" weeks a year where we don't get charged). So with that few bucks of savings, I opted to "correct" my sagging issue the best way possible :)
Those are nice, the wedding eats all my extra funds though. Yeah in Hind sight, I would have gotten QDII and probably switched a couple things around. This is my first build that was more than just big with mud tires, and I am seeing now how much more thought goes into it.
I got QT2 on accident as well but in the long run it will work out for getting a locker in the rear and maybe a SFA. :)
I actually got QDII and the 5.7L on accident https://theultimatejeep.com/notfound.png. This was just supposed to be my wifes commuter/kid hauler so i was looking for a base model, nothing fancy. Just got way too good of a deal on this vehicle (lease turn in)... never thought i'd get rid of my truck and take over the Commander.
made a change.... 245/75/17 Duratracs and ATX Slots

Need to take some better pics and update my first post.
I like those, I am looking for a good set to change too when I wear out my Rubi's
You'll like those duratracs. Much better for trail riding. They grip really well.
What's the size/backspacing on the rims?
they're 17x8 with 4.5" backspace (hence why I recently had to do the pinch weld mod)
They look great. I know the pain of the pinch weld mod. Here's a video of a fellow that was with us on a trip with duratracs:

and another

They do real well.
Nice wheels Matt, can you post front and rear pics? I'd like to see how much they stick out.
will do. Just need to snap some good pics. hopefully tomorrow evening

Just updated my rear shocks to the longer F150 version (58643) today... I need the nasty rain/sleet/snow to stop so I can get some updated pictures of the revived stance!

Looks great Matt! I love the wheels.
Thanks man :)
Looking good! Need to see some trail pics soon too.
You're telling me!
Unfortunately, it's getting harder and harder to wheel around here. Was reading a thread on the Grass Roots forum about a guy getting ticketed $1000 for trespassing, but he was on a legal road! He's fighting it, and will win... but it just puts in perspective how bad it's gotten around here. :(
I'm afraid me next real offroad adventure is going to be RC in January..
Looking good matt
I can remember when my ride was scratch free... Nice combo on the wheels & tires!
Lol who says its scratch free? One of the perks of having a white vehicle.... its hard to see clear coat damage. :)
If you head to RC in January let me know. Id like to tag along if you dont mind. Its ben just over a year since I've been there and im itching to go!
Yea this is 41ft then

Lol I know. Was cracking a joke at the wonderful spot they set aside for our Commanders/Patriots/Liberty's.
Lol i still say i should have taken a patriot! Haha
Congrats on 1st place again hahsha
We need a page/form/chart somethin where we can keep a record for our guys that entire competitions: including the when, where, and how they were ranked - and a picture. But yeah - congrats to you and Chris.
