Nice, adding this to my mod list! nice looking xk man
I've had the inTune for about a year now and had quite a bit of fun with it in the beginning..... monitoring parameters in real time can be quite addicting. Now I am just using the mileage tune.
Would you mind sharing the parameters that you tweak and what you set them to to increase performance?
Thanks man!!
I researched the internet to find out which ones to adjust that will help the most, throttle boast set to 18%, no higher it gets to jumpy, 1st gear rev limit to 5900, shift at 5800, no need to go past as the HEMI doesnt produce tq or hp passed then.. Those are pretty much the ones I did, I dont know how to adjust timing or fuel so left that alone...
I'll have to test this out. Did you modify the shift points from 2nd to 3rd to match? Seems like it would make sense, but what do I know. Also, have you tried disabling the traction control from the inTune? When I do this steering (turning) becomes very difficult like when in 4wd low (center diff locked) on dry pavement. I'm wondering if you have the same experience as I've relayed this to Diablo but never had resolution. Yours may be different as mine is the 2010xk.
No I never touched traction control, I dont want to mess with that end of it.. The 2-3 shift is the same as 1-2 and it doesnt shift until 90mph.
I also adjusted the 1-2 shift based on throttle position, meaning when Im at 60% throttle it will hold the gear longer than stock, did the same with 2-3
Thanks! Having a lot of fun now.....
If you don't mind, could you try disabling traction control and running a quick test and then you can put it back. It's a quick adjust, so no need to load a full tune. I'm just wondering if it's the same for everyone or just my application. You'll know as soon as you pull out of a parking space, you can either turn or you can't :)
Doesnt sound like something I want to do, sorry man Ive read horror stories about disabling TC with a tuner, anything else Im pretty much game for but I dont want to risk that. I tend to go off what I read in these forums and none of it is good..
