Looks awesome man. lol i do the same "install" method as you!
Actually not looking forward to my upcoming oil change. Although it's easy enough to do, taking that front guard off is some work ;)

I appreciate the compliment, Sal. Everything I've learned has been from you and Nathan - you've been like 4x4 Jeep Professors to me, lol. I dunno if you heard, but Nathan promoted me, lmao! I am now a Master Jeeper, lol. So now I walk around with my chest poked out, lol.
I can't wait for that field day we're gonna have when we slap those SA Super Sliders on my WK. And crown myself as the first WK to own a set of Super Sliders. (Nathan you cheated by test fitting). Tomorrow i'm going to tighten up that belly - and give this girl a wash.
I've always thought your WK was one of the coolest, looks even better now!
Looking Great
AJ looking great dude.
Im thinking a new mopar front skid and belly guard are in my future..
uhg, I have Jeep Envy... Looks great man
Thank you, gentleman. Here are some better pics of everything that was done. I'll also grab a better pic of the ENTIRELY cleaned engine bay - It looks BRAND NEW... I'm so excited, feel like my head is clear.

One thing Nathan MIGHT notice is I got rid of those bulbs, and tossed in his recommended bulb.
AJ your jeep is awesome man!!!! Now lets get some rock scars on those bad boys!!!
BTW, I know it's been said a thousand times, but you'll love that belly guard more than you can imagine.
You smell that? I smell a TC swap coming LOL
Ordered the "MLL+'s" lol, Looking forward to those arriving. Sean, who'm many of you are familiar with on the WK and XK Facebook page, is shipping the tires I bought from him today. You may recall the 285/70/17 Duratrac's he was selling a couple weeks ago.
Today my MLL+'s arrived.

I was trying to use a second jack I had to compress the shock into the slot - but I kept getting contact with the chassis which didn't help. After Sal laughed at me enough, I finally decided to try his method. It took me all but 5 minutes to get the passenger side in. Driver side took slightly longer due to the fuel tank, but I did some funny stuff to get that one in.
I measured 20.7" in the rear with all the skids, and my cargo full of crap pic below

passenger side took no time

Also finished up the work for my 4xG Ant mount - drill died in the middle of it.

All done

My spare OME shocks.

The ride is a little more firm in the rear - I love it. Cornering is a little better for me as well. Rear measured to be 22.5" from center cap to fender well... VERY pleased with this. Anyone comparing my previous pic's to this will clearly see there is additional room there in the wheel well area. Total yield from these shocks was 1.8" (with all the crap in my cargo).
Nice job man it's looking good bro! I only laughed at you a little bit ok I laughed at you a lot hahahahaaha hah
Nice work with those shocks, cant even get those down here.
I reckon youre going to have to build some storage solution into that boot, thats a lot of missiles in there...:o
Dave
Wow, you could be nominated for the hoarder of the forum! JK man, WK looks great
I'm waiting for new pics man!
Tires came in! Tires got put on! :)

Also I'm 37.5" in front. Thats up from the 36.5" yesterday (Ground to Fender). I'm at 38" even in the rear, that's up from the 35.7" yesterday. This obviously puts me .5" higher in the rear - This is EXACTLY what I wanted. higher stance in the rear and slightly higher than the front - couldn't be more pleased.
Out freken standing!
Looking Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bro, looking awesome.
That beast is sexy!
Thanks Guys - I'm very excited about these. As I was parking tonight and walking to my place.. A guy driving a really nice lifted truck, made it a point to catch up to me while I was walkingt - to tell me "Your Jeep looks Bad-ass, dude"... I smiled... I complimented his F150, to be nice. Then He told me he needed more lift in his rear - which I responded - It's ironic, because I'm using shocks designed for your vehicle in the back.
That's funny LOL
Thats awesome. Ready to swap in that Rock Trac yet lol
Im not sure what rock trac is, lol....
Yeah, this will be the biggest project I undertake - I'm having a VERY hard time deciding between a 4-6" lift or a XCASE swap to make this puppy laugh all the way to the top of the hill. I'll have to consult my Sensai - haha! :) Both will probably cost about the same 3-4k
TC first! Then the lift :)
I noticed after my first drive with the new shocks a 'clunking' which I kinda knew what it would be but I wanted to see what it would do. I don't know if the XK's have this problem. But some of the wheel well plastic gets awfully close to the shocks. Anyway, anytime I went down a dip, where the shocks have to respond quickly - The plastic would actually have noticeable contact with the coilovers. So I had to trim this down. I ran out of Daylight to tighty this one up, but I'll get to it tomorrow... Oh I will!
The Issue:
As you can clearly tell, plastic is too close. And yes, I can see that rubber boot slowly making it's way down the shock - I'll have to consult Sal with that one - because I'm not pulling that side shock off, lol. Was a PITA

Solution!
Dremmel Tool, extension cord, power inverter

A minor set back:
So I've removed the majority of what I need but have not actually removed the piece yet. Well I let my hand down briefly, and tap the disk on the tire and it snaps in half. I kinda laughed because stuff like this happens to me all the time.

But I was prepared!!!
https://theultimatejeep.com/images/i...2642_443-1.jpg
Nearly done
https://theultimatejeep.com/images/i...2722_336-1.jpg
As I said, I ran out of daylight, but I plan to tighten up the 'finish' so that it looks a little more professional.
I purchased the quick release system for my dremel look into it its pretty nice.
I vaguely remember your Dremmel tool - I'll have to check it out again when I come up there - hopefully SOON! :D
DUDE!!!! Those tires look awesome!!!! Man, I cant wait to go back to URE and see it perform! SO jealous of the jeep now.
And I have the same problem with that plastic. I just haven't purchased a dremel yet, lol.
