I dont think 12vdc will work adam. Pretty sure it need a pwm signal....
Will do some looking when I get home tonight. Its very doable, just slightly more involved than running a power wire
Yup 12 volt will work. This has already been bench tested by a member on the other forum who is converting his QT I to to QT II.
Well at least that's what I was told when duscussing this with him through PM's
If you could look into it that would be awesome. We will figure it out somehow. Just got to get it in the Jeep first.
Yeah Jim was doing it. I forget what he ended up doing and wasn't sure if you saw it. I thought he posted here too but maybe that was just the wss discussion.
Yeah it was Jim. I forgot he's over here too. I edited my least post. If you can still look into it just to make sure that would be great. If 12vdc doesn't work maybe you can guide me in the right direction on how to make it work
Im near positive he ended up buying a pwm controller to get it to work. On my way to the in-laws for dinner but will read into it again tonight when I get home.
I thought he needed the pwm controller for the tcase not the front diff
Ok I read through the old PMs and Jim said he bench tested the ELSD for 30 min straight with 12vdc. He did mention to install a fuse and 12v regulator though. Matt what do you know about this 12v regulator. What's its purpose and how hard is it to install.
