That's one of the reasons i want to get a new one... get a tuneable one to set it up properly. The one i have now is a trim-to-tune that's already been cut.. and it's pretty beat up.

Ya I have the trim one too.
I have the red one & love it, also mine has the quick disconnects and it is great. Its off & on in seconds. I will take pics of the whole setup today & post up.
I just keep a small wrench in my center console. Take under 10 seconds to remove the antenna.
Ordered the 4XG diff guard this evening... peeled back my cover a bit offroading today and realized how dumb id feel if I was stranded 3 hours away from home because of that. I'll probably paint it before I put it on... blue :)
And our test proves it works good haha
Just checked the jeep... rear diff is leaking; damnit
Will hammer it back in place today and top it off. I'll pull the cover and put a new seal on it next weekend. Just ordered more fluid & LS additive.

Damn that Sucks man. I havent had a chance to check mine yet. I didn't get home until about 10:00 after getting the kids.
I ended up getting home around 10-10:30 too, but we stopped for dinner.
Oh and I ordered the cover from Marlin and we've exchanged a few emails today. Sent him a link to my photobucket site so he could check out some the pictures of you wheeling that thing. Your rig looks HUGE in those pictures!
I'm confused are you getting a cover or are you getting a guard? You'll def have to hammer that lip down to fit the guard on. Because as I see it now, it will not fit with that lip bent like that. But, obviously if ya get the cover, you are good. Does the Guard also fit over the cover???
I'm getting the guard. Going to fix the cover today (i have to hammer down that lip regardless to get it to seal again).
Edit: but hammering it down is just a temp fix since theres a leak path which means the RTV seal is compromised. so this weekend i'll pull the cover off and redo the seal, and install the guard as well.
Guard came in yesterday. Ill paint it tonight and probably install it. Friday. :)

ohh me likey
What shade of blue is that?
Dupli-Color engine enamel... doesnt give a specific shade, lol i just liked the color of the cap!
Oh ok. Looks nice man.
Looks good, Interesting color choice, looking forward to seeing it installed.
Nice! Funny mine is bent more then yours and isn't leaking( knock on wood)! Still not sure if I'm going cover or guard ?
Frank... we have a saying at work; if its not leaking, it's empty!! lol you better check your diff fluid level! https://theultimatejeep.com/images/i...07/rotfl-1.gif
I would've went with a heavy duty cover if there were some good options. The guard will do for now... but eventually id like to have a nice heavy duty guard that also has a drain plug so i can do a quick drain&fill after every few wheeling trips.
And the reason i really wanted a set of wheels with a replaceable rock ring... these things are going to get beat up
(picture doesn't look as bad as it really is- its a pretty good gash)

Me likely!
Looks good!
I like that Matt! It's different than most people.
Question, on your Monroe shocks, has that rubber sleeve slid back down again or is it holding up pretty good? I gotta fix mine and want to do it similiar to yours.
My gorilla glue + 2 wraps of electrical tape did the trick.... they haven't budged.

Good. Now I just gotta get a weekend freed up so I can do this. Thanks!
the rear diff looks cool
Ordered some better shackles today.... currently only have some tiny 5/8" shackles on my matrix which are barely rated for the weight of the XK. I'll have some ARB 3/4" shackles on this week.
