The OME front kit is now installed properly!!! Let me tell you the XK looks Bad Azz! Feels great on the road too. Definitely a change from the Daystar spacer lift. Its perfectly level at 35 7/8" ~ 36" all around. Pics soon to come!

The RC spacer only lowers the bump stop ~.5-.75". You can put a few washers there to do the same thing or use body spacers.

Yeah for the front the bump stops are built into the strut and technically there's nothing stopping the suspension from fully compressing as much as stock when OME is installed whereas the RC spacer lift does produce more clearance at full suspension compression since the entire assembly is moved downwards.
Its one of the trade offs but doesn't seem to be a significant issue when put to actual use.
That makes sense, the spring rate on the OME HD coils, probably reduce the amount of spring compression upwards. Still it would be nice to have some drop down bump stops for peace of mind.Quote:

Do you know how much travel downward you have, say measures from the center of the whell to the fender, with the front sway bar disconnected?

From normal ride height I only have 1.5-2" of down travel of my front suspension. One of the reasons I will be upgrading to the superlift so I get some travel back.
Maybe I need to rethink the front coils and stay with my RC spacers up front. I have good down travel and didn't think the coils would take away that much. If the superlift is all spacers and drop down brackets, the downward travel will be similar to the RC 2" then, maybe limiting straps would be nice just to hold the CV joints from grinding. And I would still have my "lowered" bump stops.Quote:

I believe the spindle contacts the lower coil spring support on the strut, and the CV shaft looks to be in a precarious state of affairs. I'll measure it up and report back on Monday when I get back from the weekend. Could you do the same with your OME? Apples to apples I would think between the two lifts.Quote:

Than measure wheel center to fender at ride height, full down, full up at each corner and report what the limiting factor was, i.e. tire contacting wheelwell etc.
Yeah I have those measurements written down at home.... got them for Adam when we were comparing control arms.
