Lets hear it people!
Removed all the leaves, pieces of tree, and debris off the WK, and put a new air filter in her a couple days ago. The old filter was the same filter that was in there when I went to Uwharrie (twice) and Maryland. So lots of wheeling was on that filter, lol.
nothing
Did a little tailgating this weekend with some buddies. My WK served as the vehicle of choice. (for it's obvious sexiness).
I don't know how, but I managed to get 6 people inside of it. There are are 18 folks there. Several outside the camera, and 2 of them are sitting in my cargo space.

You just gave me a new "mod" idea.... roof mounted spare mounted chair...
I installed my JBA strut spacers in the front to level the front out with the back. Also installed my chrome turn signal bulbs. I'm pretty happy with both.

This chrome signal bulb - what color does it burn? It looks a lot more appropriate with the other head light mod you did. Nice job
It burns amber when lit. I'll try to get a pic of it lit today. Looks 10x IMO.
Replaced Front Driveshaft, and then booked it in to the stealership for all new front diff isolation bushes, apparently they are meant to have rubber in there??
Dave
I need to do mine. I need to call and ask how much. Im sure they are no good. Were you able to see them from underneath?
Yeah with all the plates off you can see them. Little mirror Helps. Unfortunately only 1 i think is a bolt on, the others are press in, so its a diff out scenario.
Dave
I need to do my diff bushings as well. From what I understand you can do them without pulling the diff out. Just removing the driveshaft and letting the diff hang. When I finally do it I'll report back.
In keeping with the thread: I threw a Rola Rack on today that I picked up used.

Nice rack :)
Rack looks good. Where is your bull bar mounted? Tow hook mounts? I've been looking at different options for the front end. Just don't know how it would look on mine because its not lifted. I don't like it when the bar hangs way low.
lol. Thanks.
No, it's not mounted to the tow hook points but, you can't have the bull bar and the tow hooks. And with the hardware that it came with it hung way low (slightly below the plastic air dam.) I had to cut most of the old mounting brackets off to get it where it is now. But as soon as I can get my hands on some .25" steel I plan on making a front receiver similar to the 4xGuard model with mounting points for the bull bar that will raise it up a little more and allow me to remove that little skid to expose a shackle in the receiver for recovery.
Reconnected my disconnects that have been off since .... not sure
I haven't been able to say this in a while without my wife hitting me, but Nice Rack!!!
Nothing to the wk but installed superchips on my dads jk
Lost my wk the other day :(

Now how is a jeep going to fish??? Lol
... not very well based on the hydrolocked thread!
What?
You have a fb page?
Just making a joke that our vehicles don't do very good with water (ie fishing).
I don't have FB. Well.... I do, but its mainly a "family" page to share pictures of my kids with the rest of my relatives .
Lol yea i fig it out after i posted... so your to good to be our fb friends huh. I was going to tell you to join the wk & xk group on fb
Isn't this site kind of like FB??? I guess I never thought about posting about my Jeep stuff on fb since I do all of my communicating, picture posting, etc through the forum...
:)
Put on my Monroe load levelers yesterday. It rides great and did lift the back up a little.
lol i love the trend i started with those load levelers. They were like a hidden treasure :) (i knew about them from years ago, but never saw a good use until i needed to fix the rear sag in my XK)
If you installed the OEM replacement shocks, you don't use extra washers. Those are just for the F150 version which are longer than the OEM shocks; the washers are because the F150 top mount is different than our WK/XKs so we need to use washer to account for the extra width.
