Hasnt happened in a wile but the service 4x4, abs, ebs lights came on todayi was able to get this code

BAD WIRE FROM TPS SIGNAL WIRE TO ECM/PCM
An Implausible Data Configuration can be caused when the PCM / TCM / FCM are not talking to each other
the "U" codes are only a communication error and won't affect performance or pull timing.

U140E-IMPLAUSIBLE VEHICLE CONFIGURATION DATA RECEIVED
When Monitored: Continuously with the ignition on.
Set Condition: When the Anti-Lock Brake Module detects an incorrect CAN messages from the Engine Control Module (ECM).
Possible Causes
FCM CAN BUS DTCS
ENGINE DTCS
ANTI-LOCK BRAKE MODULE
this DTC is generated by the ABS control module and should not illuminate the engine MIL. it may, however, illuminate the ABS warning lamp. the ABS module does not recognize a message from the PCM. pretty sure your B&G PCM is causing this. not the first one i've read about.

Is it a hard code? Meaning if you erase it, does it immediately come back on?
I just sat down too damnit. Let me relax for about 45 minutes and then i'll get up to check my manual... that will at least point you in the direction of which sensor is sending the bad signal.
Edit: nevermind... thanks for letting me be lazy don! (right? cico = don? i can't remember...)

I'd take a good look at the modules... anything that looks like it got wet/submerged, disconnect, dry off terminals, use some contact cleaner, some dielectric grease, plug back in and keep fingers crossed (dico the battery first..)

Update. Cleared the code last night when i got home. Started the jeep this morning and it came up again. Within 5 min it had cleared by itself
Sounds like contacts are drying out.
Dielectric grease will help keep water out for future swim classes....

I get this every time I go to glasshouse mountains and the greasy mud that is there. The wheel speed sensor connectors in each wheel well have been my cause.
The dielectric grease mentioned above is the answer, pull the plugs clean them out and then put a little grease in these and clip them back together. Last pretty well, but depends on what you drive through :p
