The Replacement XK

It's been 7 weeks since I drowned my Jeep. I've really missed it and I happened to find this one about a month ago. They wanted too much for it and it was in another state. I had asked if it had the QDII system in it but, GMC salesmen don't don't know squat about used Jeeps. They called me Wednesday and said they'd dropped the price. I really didn't expect much but they shocked me. Blue book hits at $31k and some change, I got it for $23k.

2008 Overland 5.7L QD2, leather, tow pkg, rear seat dvd, power everything, 41,000 miles, command view, nav, etc.

I'll have to keep this one out of the water (at least until it has a snorkel). I had forgotten what a difference a 2" lift makes, this one feels low. I can't wait to start armoring this one and getting it up off the ground and into the dirt.

Hurry up and lift that bad boy. These vehicles need bigger & more aggressive tires.... they look so "lost" stock...

In the Overland package, chances are about 99.99% that it's QDII. :)

I went it and pulled my wheel spacers and the mud tires. I didn't have the tools at the time to pull the belly guard or sliders, and too much hassle to pull the lift spacers in a parking lot. So, basically I have to start all over. :( I was reimbursed for those items by the insurance company though, so it's a wash.

Yes, it is, I had them send me a picture of the console to prove it before I would even consider it.

nice looking XK. i dont know what it is, but if i would have bought a XK i would have left it stock, or at least went a size or so bigger on the tire.

Your old XK is probably going to go to a scrap yard...... you should make a few calls to find out which one, then go pull off the sliders and belly guard for a fraction of the price..

I would go grab some stuff too if I knew where they take it.
