If they look anything like the picture shows then I doubt they would work for our vehicles.
That is what I thought! seemed odd that they would be listed for the XK.
That is a lot of money too. I forgot how much the JKS ones were but I do not think they were that expensive.
I cant remember exactly what I paid for my JKS Rear Quicker Disconnects but JKS lists them for $163.
Yeah I remember JKS being around $150 or so....oddly enough Al states these as Front disconnects....MUST be a typo
I had front disconnects on. Were for a TJ I think...no reason why these shouldn't work. The TJ had the right size metric bolts.
Those are just stock Libby photos we used. I have the first set sitting in Delaware to be run on an OME lift to test.
Should have production sets up for grabs real soon.

Nice! More parts I want and cant afford...lol
It'll be interesting to see how these look/work, since we apparently haven't seen what they will actually look like.
4xGuard has been working on discos for over a year, and there have been consistent long-term problems with getting them to function -- mostly due to the load our swaybars carry, which is substantially more than a Wrangler, Liberty, or the like.
I'd like to just remove the rear ones, but not sure how the handling is going to be,with how top heavy our rigs are..
Haven't had mine on in about 4 months or so now. It's not even that noticable while on the street and doesn't sway noticably much different when at speed even when quickly turning the wheel. I drove to Georgia and back from houston with no issues as well as everywhere else i've been driving around. Probably about 6000 miles without the rears put on. I do notice when I go into my driveway which has a considerable bump that as my front drives over the whole jeep bumps sideways (usually one tire hits first and rocks the jeep to one side) but when my rears go up one at a time the jeep barely even moves as the axle can articulate without affecting the whole jeep as much.
As an expiriment I took off the fronts as well and drove around the neighborhood. At 30mph on concrete it gave me quite a bad feeling as I turned the wheel quickly to see how it would react. The nose dives down on one side and it would surely be dangerous at freeway speeds with a quick lane change and likely to flip.
On my Cherokee XJ,with lift and tall tires I never ran with the sway bar connected. Maybe the new springs and shocks stiffened it up enough so I didn't feel any different?
So for all those non believers, this is what they look installed.

Nice thanks for the update.
Looks good! Very flexy WK. ;)
Interesting to see that it appears to be the same configuration that other folks have tried (based on the JKS modeling). How are you (JBA) preventing long-term bolt-shearing on that bottom bolt/post? That's been the trouble-spot for all those (including me) who've tried something similar: all seems to be well and good for miles and months until one day it loads up in a turn or in a bind and the bolt snips clean. Made us (4xG) shy away from offering it to the market given the legal concerns.
You've obviously solved the issue, since you're selling them to people, so how did you do it, I wonder? Or is that a trade secret?
The post design/material has many years and miles of use on the Libertys.
BTW, the rear sway bar is still connected. I can't understand the reasoning to disconnect the rear. Just like on TJ's, leavinged it hook up forces the front suspension to work better and more balanced.

Interesting. Good luck with it.
I agree about the rear, by the way. It has never made much sense to me to pop it loose.
THere has been a lot of discussion about your products lately. Especially the 4" lift and why the price is so high. Maybe you can explain what comes in your lift we didn't notice any brackets to drop the front diff. Also notice your working on a 6" lift we have discussed this as well only guessing at how your going to do it. Any information you can give us would be great. Thanks
Well part of the high cost of the kit was the Bilstein 7100 shocks that were custom size and valved for this application. The sprngs were wound for us, not off the shelf, which adds to the cost. There are no drop brackets in this kit. As far as the lifts we are considering getting away from Bilstien and going remote reservoir from another manufacturer. I will keep everyone in the loop.

Ok thanks for the response. Keep us posted your UCA's are on my list for sure
Here is the discount code for both the discos and UCA's, you DO NOT HAVE TO BUY BOTH to get 10% off
10% off your order, (that $58 off if you buy the pair)
Coupon Code: WK/XK10off
It expires February 25th.
All I ask is that you send pictures to [email protected] once they are installed.
Thanks,
Brad
I want a set but I know my tax refund cannot get here that quick, keep us posted on future sales as well.
(I will trade you a Secure Console for a set)
I was going to order the UCAs but just did my taxes and got about half of what I was expecting back. Swingset for my son takes priority in the budget.... so my list of "wants" for the xk is staying long for the time being.
will those JBA quick disco's work in place of the Superlift 4" lift replacements or are those stock?
I'll definitly be checking those out! Thanks for the info.
Its nice to see how many sites im on for those discos! Lol..
I had a set made to work with the Superlift, 13" eye to eye. The only problem was.. they took 2 months to make them. Good product tho.
Not sure where the 9'' to 14'' comes in on the basic ones they sell. The first set I had only went as far as 12'' which is why they had to make me longer ones.
I kept one and sold the other one to a fellow SL WK. (Offsets the cost! :))
