success with bedlining?

so its coming up on spring and if i keep the blacked out look i need to touch up some faded trim. im considering lining the door modlings and the rear step pad. i did the step pad before and i wasnt too happy with the outcome cause its kind of faded. would it be worth having a shop do it? what products have you used and had success with? post pics of any work youve done to show the outcome. thank you

I'd probably do what huey did and put the brush on over the spray on liner.
