Trailer hitch question

Hey guys! I've been gone a while, the baby has been keeping me quite busy but I do check in from time to time.

Anyway, I am looking at the OEM Mopar trailer hitches. They are telling me to get the 3500 lb. hitch because I only have the V6. My question is will the 7200 lb. hitch fit? I will not be pulling more than what is recommended for my vehicle I just want the 2" receiver instead of the 1.25" receiver because the accessories (hitch basket, bike rack) I am looking at getting are only 2" and I don't want the risk of the attachment to fit 2" accessories failing at 75mph.
