October 9, 2010 - Rim Road/General Crook Trail Loop

For this trip I thought we would jump in with my Higher Ground group as they are a great group of guys to wheel with This is an easy drive through the woods.

We will head up to the rim north of Payson and drive the FR 300 from Woods Canyon Lake back to Payson, and maybe check out some off shoot roads and see where they go. This will be a easy dirt road trip that a 2wd should be able to make but bring a 4wd.

We will meet at New Life Church parking lot at 6:00 am (time may change so check back) and pull out shortly after. This will be a all day trip. Bring lunch and drinks, and maybe a jacket, it might get a little cool up there.
