Check Engine Light After Gassing Up.

Hey guys. Last week I filled up on my way to work. About 2 miles down the road my check engine light came on. Later that night, after driving the Jeep about 3 or 4 times the light went off. It seemed to be running fine and the light didn't come back on so I never had it looked at. Today after work, I filled up again. Tonight, about 20 miles after gassing up, the light came on again. This time the gas needle dropped from Full to Empty, the "Fuel Low" came on the evic, and then the needle went back to Full. My brother in law is going to try to bring it in to the dealership this week to have it looked at (He's a salesman at the local Jeep dealer).

Just trying to see if any of you guys would have any idea what it might be? Also, if the check engine light goes off again, before they can get the scanner on it, will they still be able to pull the code? Thanks!

So I just went out to try the "key dance" (which I couldn't get to work) to try to pull the codes, and when I turned me key on, my gas gauge is now reading empty, and my fuel low indicator is on the evic. I know this isn't right because I filled it today lol. Seems like it might be some kind of sensor???
