I cut off the cross member with a sawzaw.... quite easy. I cut the frame rails parallel to the cross member about 1/2" back. See the link to the custom plow mount in my sig.

I saw one for a WK that bolts to the hinge, not sure if it would work on the XK............ I'll have to see if I can dig up a link.
Great to have you back! When do the doors come off?
How do we get our hands on that front bumper?
Yes, ~50% more.
OK, I was confused........ I thought you had a 3/8" thick spacer, with the geometry of our front suspensions this would give ~9/16 of lift.
You have a 1/4" spacer that will give 3/8" lift - Go...
If you are doing the JBA's I would go ahead and do the spacers as well, provided the back is at least 1/2" above the front now. Those spacers will raise you about 9/16" which, for me, put the front...

I installed the JKS 2034 in the front of my XK this weekend.
They are a tight fit with the spindle, but do fit and I have had no rubbing, clunking, or rattling with then yet (about 50 miles). ...
Is this something that could be adopted for manual cable operation with a little ingenuity?
If anyone is interested Rusty's currently has the JKS 2034 on sale for $110. Others on the XK/WK forums have said they work for our front ends. I picked up a pair but have not had a chance to...
