Looks nice!!! I have a '85 XJ that "should" look like that lol
HDPE is the type of plastic that was used at a skid plate. I was just saying that it is an option, just not an option I would use. Imagaine one of your front tires slipping off a rock and said...
HDPE is an alternative to steel, and from what I can find, looks like it comes in opaque, white, yellow, and black. I would rather have a stainless skid plate, just my thoughts. I know HDPE is used...
I still need to examine it a bit more, but the skid might attach underneath the factory engine skid plate instead.
I am working on an optional skid plate that would bolt to the bumper and then attach to the radiator support.
I should threaten the kids with that!
I think that would be a cool design too! I would love to do something like that.
Thank you to all of you for being patient. Here are a few more pictures.

That's the plan.
Thank you!
Thank you! Yes, I made the bumper here at home out of my shop. It's a prototype, but I would like to maybe add fog lights and a hoop for additional lights.

Something like this?
Ok...I know it's been a bit but I did install the new diff cover on the XK. Unfortunately, it did not have enough spacing (sounds familiar, huh?). I will be making another one this weekend and hope...
I will when I install it on my truck. I still have to put a plug and I was thinking of countersinking the holes so that the bolt heads do not get damaged by rocks.
I run a full sized spare. Yes, my carrier does use the factory hitch, but that will change soon.

Here are some pictures of my work in progress of a replacement QT2 diff cover. Let me know what you guys think.

Im waiting for my account to be activated as well. I would like to see the XJ owner follow us sometime. Does "Don't follow me, you won't make it!" ring a bell here.

Isn't the Rock Krawler kit the spacer kit where they added the front and rear lift to get 3.5 inches? I believe Tymac is the one that installed one of those kits. I'm running the Rocky Road kit and...
X2 100% agree with the Sheriff!!!
Who's planning on attending the 4th of July festivities at Jeep Skool this year? How can you top shooting up 2 Cherokees???
Ohio mud has a certain "stick" factor that the car washes can't seem to remove!
First off, Happy Father's Day to all you dads. When I was at Jeep Skool in May, I was leading a Wrangler and S-10 Blazer through the backwoods. The trails are rutted badly and most of the obstacles...
