New Mopar 3.73 front ring and pinion gears and the Used Front front locking differential w/ 3.55 gears ( 11,000 miles) You will need to swap in the 3.73 gears....
Not losing, just not building up any more. I'll have to look at the boxes tomorrow and I'll repost on the CV shafts. One side works for all front diffs and the other is for the locking diff.
Yes it has 3.55 gears I installed them and was going that direction until I found out I can't change gears in my Jeep anyway, so if anyone want the front differential and the 3.73 gears they will...
For Sell:
New Mopar 3.73 front ring and pinion gears $225 +shipping
Used Front front locking differential w/ 3.55 gears $250 + shipping (Needs 3.73 gears or ready to go with 3.55 gears) 11,000...
Thanks for reporting back, this is great news! I know it's only one wheeling trip, but from some of the pictures you've posted in the past, I'm sure you put them through their paces.
I here ya'll, I'm heading the OME way, I have the OME rear HD coils coming, I have 2" body spacers for extending the rear bump stops and the RRO track bar.
Matt, I haven't had a chance to measure downward travel yet, but will see if I can this weekend. The differences in spring rate and strut valving makes sense for offroad and that's the primary reason...
I keep hearing this limited travel of the OME lift in the front, It makes me wonder why so many swear it's a better lift 2" lift. Would I be better off replacing my worn out struts, and staying with...
Those of you with the OME HD front coils, if you could have your front bump stops extended down, how much would you extend them down. Looking at my RC spacer lift, it must lower the front bump stops...
LCU pivot points 3" lower, Strut Spacer 4" length.
How did the RRO arms do?
Anyone with the Superlift 4" lift, what is the actual length of the upper strut spacers?
And the distance the lower control arm pivot points are lowered with the kit?
I believe the spindle contacts the lower coil spring support on the strut, and the CV shaft looks to be in a precarious state of affairs. I'll measure it up and report back on Monday when I get back...
Maybe I need to rethink the front coils and stay with my RC spacers up front. I have good down travel and didn't think the coils would take away that much. If the superlift is all spacers and drop...
That makes sense, the spring rate on the OME HD coils, probably reduce the amount of spring compression upwards. Still it would be nice to have some drop down bump stops for peace of mind.
I"m...
How is that possible? I'll have to measure the spacer, but I believe it is 1-7/8" long, placed between the upper strut mounting plate and the mounting surface on the inner fender. That would lower...
I am going to the OME HD front coils and will be removing the RC spacer blocks, but that raises a question about the bump stop. If the OME coil springs provide the lift without the spacer blocks, and...
That's what I was looking for, Thanks.
Did they come with new pivot bolts or were you able to reuse your bolts?
Where is your concern with these, the smaller pivot bushings?
Thanks.
I found these pics with the arms used with a Superlift 4" lift. My guess from studying the pics, using these arms and a 2 to 2-1/2" lift, the ball joint is probably very close to being...
On the RRO Upper Control Arms, what is the thickness of plate that the ball joint mounting bolts go through?
Also could anyone with a 2" to 2-1/2" lift post a picture showing us the angle of the...
Cool! Post some pics!
Can you also measure from the fender lip down to the center of the wheel to give us the amount of lift without tires?
How much does the SL kit drop the lower control arm pivot points?
It's sounds worse then it is. Looks pretty simple. Best thing about it would be lowering the whole drivetrain.
I am going to take a look this afternoon in the wheelwell again, but after finding this picture on Rocky Road's website my idea may not work.
I have pretty much convinced myself the whole engine...
I have the pivot points all worked out as to keeping it all as stock, think of it as moving everything down 1-1/2". So when done the CV joints and tie rods see a 2-1/2" lift, Is 2-1/2" of lift too...
