there should be a little access door in the front of the wheel well liner, mine has one at least
Will do, thanks.
Where have you guys that replaced your rack gotten it from, I think I've read that some people had problems because their replacement rack was for a grand cherokee and they are different even though...
This post might be a little bit of a long one but I'm torn between 2 choices and want some opinions. First off the XK isn't going anywhere, I just want a second Jeep that I can wheel a little harder...
Nobody? It looks like we might have a pretty good turn out and it should be a lot of fun.
Looks very nice
No, maybe not 12, but 3 just seems like a crazy low offer if it was serious. 7600 seems way more reasonable. 12 was the window sticker price on the wk, the sign hanging from the mirror was 9K.
Your jeeps worth way more than 3K, I saw a WK with 151K on it at the dealer today for 12grand. I get letters from one dealership all the time telling me they'll give me 1 or 2k over blue book.
I really like it
Stupid
Trying to plan a trip in April to the badlands. Right now looking at the weekend of the 12/13th. Date could be switched in the next couple of days if interest is shown for another weekend. Anyone...

As of Sunday my lift redo and tire/wheel swap was complete. It was a pain to get done, especially alone and in the cold, but it was well worth it. Thanks to everyone for your advice, I don't think...
Just changed my shocks today, the stock ones actually seem pretty good yet too. I'd sell em to you real cheap if you want them, not sure how much it would cost to ship them.
Nice! I have the same wheels sitting in my garage waiting for rubber. Glad to know they are going to look good.
Thanks for all the tips guys, pretty much all the parts are in now and I had the struts assembled today. I'm going to try to get the rear done before work tomorrow then get the front done on Friday....
If I get the struts assembled, how much will the strut and rear springs need to be compressed to get them in.
Not yet, I'm still waiting on the front springs, they apparently got held up in shipping due to weather. I was going to take the struts in to be assembled but figured I'd need the compressors anyway...
Anybody have a recommendation on a set of spring compressors capable of handing the OME springs. I don't trust the rentals and compressing springs makes me a little nervous.
looks really good.
The bumper looks great. That looks like a pretty sweet bike too.
I pulled the roof rack off the jeep tonight so I could pull it into the garage to do some work. It looks so naked!
I dunno, doesn't make sense to me. He called back and said that he could send me the rest of the parts but he wanted 160 bucks for the eyelet and jamnut for the other end and the bushings, or 200...
