Well, Firestick worked wonderfully. For those of you familiar with Flagpole Knob, I was at the campsite on the summit and was talking to Cico who was 5 minutes outside Harrisonburg. Not sure how far that is but its a nice little distance, almost an hour drive.

yeah I measured 13 from grocery, takes forever though since you can only drive 4mph up there. We measured 28.5 from Sheetz using a gps.

    ^^ looks good man.

Would definitely want to add a spring base at a minimum though... those sticks don't have much flex, and don't know of any wheeling spots around where you won't be hitting branches with it.

    Thanks!

Yeah, I already discussed the spring idea on another forum. I just need to get around to buying one.

ANYONE thought about/tried/SUCCEEDED in mounting a cb, around the shifter? Is that plastic section just AHEAD of the shifter, modular? If I could pull that whole PIECE out, dropping in a nice CB should be a snap!

I like the mounting possibilities on the far lower left-hand section of the dash (pulling down the tray and taking out that little storage cubby to put it in there). I DON'T like the idea of having to run a remote speaker... somewhere... and having to mount THAT. Sticking it in/around the shifter, should leave it in such a position, that I can hear the factory speaker.
