    starting/starter issue

has anybody with the 3.7 engine had any starting issues...the jeep only has 44k miles on it and every so often we go to start it and get one click like the starter took a crap.try starting it again and it starts up no problem.i checked identifix at work and got no helpful info.it has a brand new mopar battery so i know its not that. before i throw a starter in it, just want to check feedback from you guys, maybe its a freak bad ground or something let me no what you guys think.

Did you check the terminals on the starter? I'd run through all of the wiring really quick first. Loose connections and corrosion will cause that. As will a flat spot on the solenoid, but checking/cleaning the wiring is cheap & easy.

Ill check it out on Sunday when you come over for our "photo op "

I had the same symptoms on my hemi. 'Twas the starter. And what fun THAT was to replace....
