    Steve's Garage

Well, yesterday I received my order of Husky Floor Mats. Front, Back, 3rd Row and Cargo Area. They were use and i puchased them from Rich Morrison, in VA. I got a good price and i am happy with them. Just that they are gray, and i have black carpenting, but it still looks good for the price.

I also today met up with another XK Brother in New Jersey named Steven (Cloud)from Roselle, NJ. He has a 08 Blue XK. I purchased his running boards and now have them installed on my XK. Now my little filippino wife, will have no problems climbing into the XK. Just think if mine was lifted.. Hmmmm.. maybe 2 inches will be ok.. Then I will have to get the Drop Rope for her AGAIN.. lol...

Well today I went over to Matt's house and he replaced my Front brake pads and rotors. Then we did the transmission fluid and both filters. Iikr when a plan comes together. Thanks again Matt.

Any tips to doing the transmission pan drop on the 545RFE? I just did mine. What a PITA!!! It's worth it, though. There was a bit of sludge around the magnet and on the bottom of the pan. Sludge may be too harsh a term, but there was some stuff there. I like knowing there are fresh filters in there.

Wire n coax is just running down my dash n under my floor mats. This is a great radio. I like that it has a weather alert so when I am traveling in the midwest when that time comes again next year I will be ready .
