Matt is correct. The 17x9 ET0 ZX (5" BS) will sit out 2.5" further out when compared to the OEM wheels. With your spacers factored in, the 17x9 ET0 ZX sits 1" further out. With the spacers removed and new tires mounted you'll need to make fender modifications.

Its doable... but you'll rub on the firewall (especially with 265/70/17). If you have rear hvac lines you'll want to remove them.

So if i keep my spacers, use these rims and a good AT tire I am good to go?

Would I keep with my 255/75/17 or move to the 265/75/17?

I wanted to drop the spacer so that I did not have issues when I pull into Discount Tire for service.

You can't run the spacers with those wheels.... they'll stick out like 3" beyond the fenders lol.

You're better off with 265/70. The 265/75 will be tougher to fit and 255 is a bit thin for a 9" wheel.

Okay so will I rub with the 265/70 with my RR 2.25" lift and pinch weld modification?

Yes because they will sit out an inch farther then you current setup. Cut out your pinch welds and weld in new steel and you will be fine because you have tube fenders up front and don't have to worry about hitting the fender flare. But like Matt said you will still have to do something with the heater/ac lines.

I have been putting this off because I live in AZ (90s today) but I did rip it off while wheeling last summer and I never use the rear seat so I guess I should just do it and get it over with.

I am still confused on some of this.
What I would like to know with a 9" rim for our rigs running 265/70-17's. What would the back spacing on the 9" rim need to be, to be able to run with out spacers? Also with out rubbing as long as I already did the pinch weld mod, will not be removing the HVAC lines, I use my 3rd row seats

Just a note for future test fitting.... there is considerably more clearance on the drivers side of vehicles equipped with rear hvac. By the looks of it, and based on the difference in clearance on my vehicle, even the 265/65/17 would probably hit the passenger side lining where the hvac lines are run.

Valid observation, I did not consider that when I took Jacob's KX in. My XK does not have inner fenders and we will be able to see things more closely when I take it back to install these with tires one more size larger if they will fit.
