Took some better pics of the installed skids from yesterday. They can be found in the build thread and also my jeeps facebook page, lmao. I also got the Jeep detailed today including the engine bay. And it turned out AMAZING. The only people who might really be able to appreciate it are the people who have seen how filthy my engine bay is (Sal, Chris, Danny) But it was filthy... Here is a pic of my engine bay spotless.

Nice Cricket!!!!! OMG... slap those babies in as quickly as possible because I wanna see how much difference there will be between the front and rear, lol... I just want the rear to sit up .5" higher... lmao - thats ALL I WANT!!! AHHHHHH!!!!

Sal - I'm not sure what they did... but as soon as he popped the hood and opened it up... the guy laughed at me so hard because apparently I "had a grin that put the grinch to shame."

Figured I'd post this here in case anyone is interested. I finished my custom brush guard. Not perfect, but looks pretty professional. It'll do for now. Once it gets warmer I may make another one. The lights are my old KC 130w floods and a new set of 5" KC 100w fogs on top.

    Looks great.
Is it hooked up to where the Tow Hooks connect up at?

Thanks guys! I bolted it to the brackets from my Westin bullbar for now. (it was cold out.) When it warms up I have some 1/4" steel that I'm gonna use to make some recovery points. Then I'll weld a a bracket onto that for the bar. Should be very solid then. It's stiff now and would probably hold my weight, but I wouldn't jump up and down on it as it's only bolted to the crossmember in the front. Poor design by Westin. A few more inches of steel and they could have grabbed onto the bolts for the factory tow hooks.
