I would paint it to keep rust to a minimal. But that comes from the guy who cleans and paints all scratches and trail damage after every outing

Some black rattlecan has always worked for me... I usually get rustoleum enamel.
Well it is all stripped out!
For the most part everything is torn down. Tomorrow I will build it all back up SL style! It will be slow going because I plan to do a little preservation at the same time, not to mention I am meticulous and like to take my time and make everything perfect
