Finally put a set of these on. I've never had an issue.... if you tighten the lug nuts in the proper sequence these rings really aren't needed, they just make the process fool proof. I put them on for ease of installation... hell they're only $10. Now I don't have to hold up the tire to get that first lug started.

What are these for? Besides making it easier for you to put a tire on.
They center the wheel on the hub. A lot of people have vibration issues running lug-centric wheels (mainly due to installation error); These eliminate that issue.
.... they also transfer the load to the hub, thereby relieving some stress on the studs. you could make the case that this is good for highly off camber offroading where those wheels studs are put to the test. Making something stronger is never (well, almost never) a bad thing. Especially when it only costs $10.
Ok I see I might have to pick these up I have a slight vibration in the steering wheel I noticed this weekend maybe that will help unless one of my tires is off balance which could be possible I guess.
You shouldn't need these with stock wheels.....
Aftermarket wheels have a larger hub bore so they fit multiple applications that have the same bolt pattern. Stock wheels are already hub-centric.
Ok I guess I need to maybe get my tries balanced again then. The wheel very slightly wobbled back and forth at certain speeds.
Yeah, probably a balance issue.... rotate them to the rear, one at a time, to see if you can isolate which one it is
It only happen at like 70MPH I never really go on the highway at all so the fastest I will hit is 60MPH so that's probably why I never noticed it before.
