    I towed my Nissan Versa (when i had it) from GA to TX on a car dolly from uhaul. I got 10.5-11 mpg. (That was according to my trip computer which hasn't been corrected for my tires yet. So it may have been 12. While those all seem bad my xk doesn't get much better anyway. Maybe 13-15 at the most. I've found that no matter what i tow it seems to always be about the same 10.5-11.

    I towed a pop-up trailer to WCCC this summer and was getting 13mpg when I slowed down to 65 mph.

    Flat-towing my friend's Rubicon Unlimited I got about 10.5mpg.

    I am picking up an 8.5x20 car hauler next week. We'll see how my mileage is then...

    I know I'm a little behind on this site, but someone has to work.

    Anyway, you definately want a Hemi if you plan to tow heavy trailers. This year I towed my 5782# loaded 27' travel trailer to Colorado with my 4.7L Commander. Big mistake. Got 8.1mpg headed west and 9.2 headed east. It was a battle to keep it cool, because the motor wanted to spin 5000 rpm's the whole way there.

    Wow that is a big ass trailer. Got a picof it all hooked up? I don't plan on hauling anything more than a Jeep or Popup behind mine with the 4.7.

    4.7 towing almost the max, at about 70-72MPH I get 10-11mpg. If I try to keep it at 75 if drops quick.
