lol. You can have it. I like Fords, but I hate the F250's and I don't think any of them belong on the trail.

Right me either, An F350 would always be the correct choice........ wait no not that either. lol

I've done some decent offroading with my dad's old F250 and it's alright but it turns like crap so you do a lot of back and forth stuff in the woods. Also if you don't have 4x4 engaged it has no real grip because it will just spin the tires too much. The engine has so much torque it is almost inevitable (7.4l Diesel/bully dog) that this thing has to be in 4x4 when on just about any surface even with km2s.

However, That is a sick F250 in that article!!!

I had an F-350 diesel. You're right, they suck on the trail. In fact, a trip to Moab with it was what prompted the entire RV redo from that truck and a 31' trailer to the current 40' motorcoach and Commander. The XK has been 10 times the trail rig.

There were times in coral colored Moab sand, that the F-350 spring-hopped across where I really didn't think we'd make it past. Get it stuck, and you have an 8,000 lb. truck to extract. Switch backs were 47 point turns. Of course, it was an extended cab with an 8' box. 5 MPH was max. Any faster and we'd rupture spleens.
