What has your XK\WK done for you?

I replied today in the what did you do to your XK thread today with what my XK did for me. So got me thinking maybe a thread on what our XK\WK have done for us. No time stamp like TODAY or anything but if your jeep took care of you or like me just seeing it calmed me down and made me feel better or got you out of a jam anything like that post up your story and pay homage to the JEEP!

So I had the wife come get me with the other set of keys. Standing there in 90 degree heat in my ACU's on top of it. I see my jeep come around the corner instant smile on my face and a sense of relief. She pulled in I jump in the passenger seat real quick and just felt all calm and all better again it was like I was already home. Needless to say I kicked her out of my jeep and back into her car and proceeded to take a 30 minuet nap in my Jeep Home is were you hang your hat they say and I hang a few hats in my Jeep.

My XK provided a new activity (Wheeling/camping) that myself, my fiance, and son + our two dogs can enjoy together. It has taken us to a ton of new places, and met a lot of new friends. The Jeep is now part of family and is a source of enjoyment, adventure, and fun.

In transit, should be here Fiday. Transport company picked it up Tuesday at 4pm which was a day early, and 6 days earlier than they originally said.
I know what I'll be doing friday night.
Might go thru the beer list and find something I haven't had yet in preparation for a long night of cleaning.
