    P2098

Im having trouble getting my WK to pass emissions testing and I have a p2098 code causing me hell.

I have had the 02 sensors changed twice, and they shop has found no leaks. Its been in the shop 3 days and it cant pass. In my state it must be inspected to renew registration, so im stuck.

Any advice? Anyone else had this problem?

o2 Sensor before the cat is gone bad - seem like it could be the culprit?

Yes, that 02 is critical for AFR control.

Also, don't use Bosch. I would only use OEM or NTK for these vehicles.

yep - Thanks for replying. My confidence is getting higher with your confirmation of that o2 sensor being critical for a-f ratios.

On a positive note, your commander is going to feel like a TANK after driving around that civic all week
