Crawl under your jeep. Look at the front diff. Look right on top of it where the mounting point is. There is a bolt going through a bushing. That's the one. If you look at the superlift instructions it has a pic in there where you are dropping the diff.

Haven't heard from you in a while. Where ya been?

Thanks for the input, I did the sway bar bushing in May and I'll take a look at the diff isolator this weekend.
I'll probably replace everything I can think of while I have it apart.
I'm thinking wheel bearings and maybe the half shafts as well depending on cost, I'm keeping this one forever and it's at 127,000 miles.

I know what your talking about now. I'll probablly swap mine out soon. There are a few issues with my front end that need to be addressed. I'll be purchasing JBA UCA's here in the next month or so due to the outer edges of my tires cupping so i'll probablly swap out that isolator at the same time.

I have been gone a lot lately with the Army and finally returned home for a few weeks. I just recently hit 90,000 on the XK too!

Looking around last night couldn't find any real deterioration in the isolator.
Parts #15 and 7 of the attached.
Was your wear with part # 15?
    Thanks,

15 is the only one i've actually looked at but yes it was 15. I need to check the others to confirm their condition as well.

Let us know how it goes. I've heard replacing those are a pain due to the location. Also I'd like to know where you pick up the new bushings and the cost so i can break the news to my better half. She likes to budget very carefully and i nearly have to put in a requisition form in order to recieve proper funding to pay for stuff. (And every once in a while i just buy something and don't say anything till it shows up at the door. She doesn't like that much at all.)
