    Weight Reduction Ideas

With all the things being added to the XK such as bull bar, skid plates, rock sliders, roof racks etc. it adds quite a bit of weight. Especially since I and some others have only the 3.7 it can slow the vehicle down. Other than removing the third row seat anyone have ideas on how to reduce weight to compensate for the additions?

Sal took off his doors, and you could always cut the roof off lol

I don't think there's any real significant weight reduction that you can do to these vehicles that would make a notable difference.

It's getting to cold to take the doors off Take the third row out and drop the spare tire run on less then a half a tank of gas. I think anything else would alter the look of the Jeep like stripping the doors down and stuff like that.

Yeah, up here in MI removing the doors this time of year = not smart. I know you can have a custom fiberglass hood made which will save a ton of weight but thats probably quite expensive.
