    The site is on a shared server, so it's like any other computer if a lot of people are doing a lot of things then it will run slow. I have no idea how many other sites are hosted on this server, but imagine each site as a program open on your computer.. some programs take more system resources than others and I think we're making this forum into a resource hog

    I've got Verizon FIOS, which has some nominally decent speed for a home setup -

    Nonetheless, this is the slowest site that I visit more than once a day.

    But even your speed test gives this site a A+ and indicates it is 98% faster than other US sites.

    I'm not sure if this is a joke or not.. That is a rating of his internet service based on comparison to other ISP's and their speeds.

    This is a test of his band width not our forum speed. I'm pretty jealous of that up load speed though that's jus sick. I'm pretty stoked that we grew enough to slow the server down

    That's from home - I think they have a higher tier than this, still, although Lord knows I have everything BUT the Playboy Channel, and have the bundle package (phone/internet/cable).

    this site was running great today just slowed down at night. Not my best numbers but still pretty good.
