    So the question is do I go with the Champion Double Platinum or Iridiums since prices is about the same here...

    There not priced the same the Iridiums are more money then the platinum. Platinum are about 4 Iridiums are at least 8 at least they were last time I did mine.

    Ah in Alaska you would be baffled by pricing. So it comes down to if the difference is only a couple dollars which do I get... decisions >.<

    I just ended up throwing in the oem champion plugs.

    Interesting this was brought up.....that and timely.
    I have 12000 on these plugs now and removed one for inspection last month.
    Looks like new.....no gap change....no discoloration.....nothing.

    So....I guess I'll look again at 60k or 30k of service.
    If what I see is any indication, these likely are 100k plugs as I anticipated.

    That's a good idea I think I'll try to get around to pulling mine next week and see how they are doing. I can't remember what I put in

    I went with the NGK V-Power plugs this time - changed 'em out about 3 weeks ago, & running great so far!
