    Ohhh, so you copied the first mount I made. lol. Doesn't 4xguard have an enclosed one? I'm pretty sure that's where I got the idea for the first one.

    I debated boxing it in but that would have meant pulling out the welder, which typically isn't a chore but, I'm 90% done building a new shed and all my lawn crap is in the garage.

    I just finished making up new ends on the antenna wire since I had to cut off the section that was pinched by the tail light. Too dark and rainy for pics though. I think it looks pretty good now that it's all finished. Just have to find someone local who can tune the antenna.

    I understand completely lol... i boxed mine in and molded it to the body so it would look a little neater. But ill prob end up buging the 4xg one... i cant leave anything alone. Im always changing something on my jeep lol

    Looks good, I boxed mine in, but it basically because I was looking for a reason to use my welder

    Yeah, usually I'm just lookin for an excuse to weld, but it wasn't all that accessable so I went for the simple route. I'm happy. My biggest concern was strength and this thing is solid as can be.

    I finally had a chance to take somer pics of the finished install:
