"Bed linered" bumper and step pad

Im not sure if anyone has posted about this before but I figured I would post the changes I made this weekend. I bed lined the step pad and the bottom of the bumper as well as the bottom bracket the bumper attaches to. I used the Duplicolor rattle can and I liked the way the product laid down. I would definitely recommend it.

I did my bumpers to I used both brands but found the rustolem to be easier to spray on but the duplicolor went twice as far but cost twice as much.

I did the front and rear bumpers of my XJ (rest her soul) and the rocker panels. It held up super well for the 2.5 years it was on before she was put down. I plan on doing to the XK most likely next spring or summer.

I've never thought of doing the entire bumper. I was nervous just doing the bottom lip!

I know this is an old thread but after seeing Sal's XK with the black bumpers and sides, I want to do something simliar to my WK. The only couple of difference is, I would like to do more of a bedliner type mod and make it factory color. I've already found factory color match spray paint (just need to order it). Can anyone tell me if I can apply bedliner and then paint it the factory color or do I need to order the bedliner paint in the factory color?

Wouldn't be easier and cheaper just to order the color match bedliner. You'll be saving the time of having to paint it twice and the money of only having to buy one color of paint
