    Pines trip- Sunday after Thanksgiving

Going to take a ride to the pines the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Might be trying two places that I haven't been to before... so it'll be a bit of an excursion.

If anyone wants to join in, post up.

How challenging are the Pines? I've never been, but I am curious. Unfortunately, I'm still at stock ride height, but I do have OEM armor!

You don't even need armor to ride in the pines.... its really not challenging at all. Hardest part is avoiding deep mud & water

Fun trip today... the XK never ceases to amaze me how it can climb with such ease; i basically idled up stuff that should have given somewhat of a challenge..

I'll have to wait for mike to upload the pictures and videos though because I didnt get to take any of my own.

    Here's how the day started:

    And here's how it ended:

    No carnage...

I thought the fuzz likes to hand out tickets in the pines...

Hence the reason why the last time I went was when I posted this thread, and have been to RC 5 (or 6?) times since then.

But to get out for a day with the family, cruise around a bit and hang out, it beats 3+ hr drive I have to RC.

They do. There are particular spots that are strictly off limits and I stay the hell away from them.

There are plenty of legal places to cruise around and that's where I stay. But like stated, it's boring for anything more than getting some fresh air and spending time with friends/family. Not to make it sound like spending time with friends/family is boring lol... just that you'll be bored if you go into it thinking its going to be hardcore wheeling. A stock 2wd Commander could tag along and be fine.
