Cool Can't go wrong with BACON!

I see and hear about so many cool things to do with bacon, a food catagorie all by itself that I thought we could start a thread of great eats and great ideas of things to do with BACON!

    To get the ball rolling...

    How about some Bacon Candy?

    http://www.thinkgeek.com/caffeine/bacon/eb0c/

    Olde tyme bacon.

Close your eyes, and think back to long ago. You'd go over to grandma's house. There'd be a little jar on the table with treats, and you were always allowed to have one. Such great memories. Until that time, you took something from the OTHER jar, and grandpa chased you around to get his teeth back. Well, time to bring those memories (the candy, not the teeth) back with these Old Fashioned Bacon Candy.

See, Old Fashioned Bacon Candy look just like those candies grandma shared with you - except these candies taste like bacon. And they come in a delightfully retro tin you can display on your coffee table or desk. Eat the Old Fashioned Bacon Candy one by one, and savor the taste of bacon while recollecting a calmer, gentler time. Or eat them all at once, what do we care. We just know you'll love these Old Fashioned Bacon Candy - so there. Pffft.

    Old Fashioned Bacon Candy

They look like old fashioned candy in an old fashioned tin - but they taste like bacon (the candy, not the tin).
A sweet and smoky bacon treat to delight your taste buds.
    Each candy is individually wrapped.
Tin shows you where bacon candy comes from.
Approx. 12 candies per tin (it's filled by weight, so can vary just a tad).

    Cool BACON turtles!

Handmade ground beef patties, topped with sharp cheddar cheese, wrapped in a bacon weave, then the next step, add hotdogs as the heads, legs with slits for toes and tail.

Next step. Place on an oven rack, covered loosely with foil and baked for 20-30 minutes at 400 degrees. A little crispy, not too crunchy…just how a turtle should be, right?

10lb of ground bacon rolled up to look like a pork loin. Wrapped in a simmilar style mesh of bacon as shown in the above turtle^^. Grilled for about an hour. Finger licking good. Also bacon diped in Chocolate is really freaking good.

I dont know if you can bas on it till you try it, lol. I love mixing food and trying stuff, but twice a year we have a Bacon Party. 2lbs per person is the door fee, and everyone does weird creations. Some guy did that last year and it was pretty awesome.
