If your computer has a SD slot most do now take the memory card out of the camera and plug in your computer. Then it's just like a thumb drive at that point click and drag or copy and paste the pics over. I never use the camera software anymore this way is much easier and faster.

I built this one in '06 w/o the slot (D'OH!), but I actually own one of those (scavanged off another machine), and INTEND to install it in an empty bay... one of these days...
