What's with the trailer? You've got a roof rack!

That's about the only thing that goes up on my rack. Once or twice a year the spare tire goes up for a day.

lol i was waiting to take some flak for that!!

Had to move the trailer anyways... figured we'd kill two birds with one stone and save my back a bit considering i had a lot of other yard work i was doing.

It's nothing special just yet but this is from Friday night. My daughter placing the first ornament on the tree, nothing like pj's and tree decorating. I'll try to get one of the finished product when I get back home in a couple of weeks.

I don't have any pics, but like Sal - We've always put our Christmas tree and lights around the house the Friday right after Thanksgiving. We've done this as long as I can recall - Has always been a family event.

It's a family event whether they like it or not.
We give ourselves the whole weekend to try to keep it low stress. We go back and forth on live or fake. This year we went fake. The old one was pretty rough so off to Home Depot for a new one.
It was not a cheap trip.
    Room looks nice though.
I'll take some pix and post them up later.

Christmas is very different the first time you decorate with your wife as opposed to decorating with your other family.
We argued about the stupidest things. We still argue about stupid things, but we know that and move on so it isn't as stressful.
Spent last weekend at Childrens hospital with my son and this weekend we are going to a Christmas party in Lansing. We'll get
    to decorate soon.

    Cool

Got the tree & the lights up yesterday - decorations to come. Got some sort of new coma-inducing lights this year - my Autistic children loved them, though!
