First area I actually had to pay attention to where I was driving
This area is famous for it's very blue water in the area lakes.
The lakes were very full, including this area where the trail was underwater to about 3/4 of the way up the tires. Black bears are common in this area.
Starting to get a little more challenging.

This was as far as I went. I think I could have gotten through here, but a hundred yards further or so was definitely guna make some damage.

Those pictures bring back memories. I used to be a member of the Seirra Ridge Riders and I have some pictures from aabout 15 years ago. I took my 15 year old son, Billy with me on the trail. At the start of the trail we found two guys stranded in the middle of the trail in deep water. Billy waded right in with a strap to pull them out. Turned out that they were meeting up with our group for the run. Billy was the "Hero of the Day".
