Ordered the wheelskins today... did black top/bottom and sand sides (figured it'll stay cleaner looking that way). My wheel is disolving pretty bad at the 10 o'clock position since thats where i primarily leave my left hand, and i guess im a greasy italian
I'll let it bake in the jeep on a hot day before i install it.
Put the cover on today... I let it bake in another vehicle all day while we were driving around the XK (helped my old man with a few chores today). So when i got home the covers was nice and hot, and the XK wheel was relatively cool from driving around with the windows down.
A bit tedious (actually, very tedious) and my fingers hurt like hell; but i'm very pleased with the results. It's nice and tight and hopefully stays that way!
It's not bulky at all. Only bulge is really because of the double-seam area since this goes over the current cover; so the seam is more evident.
