    Steering wheel covers?

My steering wheel is a bit beat up and is starting to flake away where i grip it. I've never used a wheel cover before but have been in plenty of car with annoying/ugly steering wheel covers. Has anyone used a quality steering wheel cover that was actually comfortable and not just another annoyance?

    Maybe the wheelskins?
    http://www.wheelskins.com/eurotone_w...p?wheel=et_lg3

Would be cool to get the Euro version.... do black top/bottom with white sides to somewhat match the theme of my stormtrooper...

They're leather, so i'd think the white wouldn't be hard to keep clean especially if its just the sides. I'm a 10 o'clock holder and keep my right hand on the lower section at about 5 o'clock. So i wont be gripping the white area often

What's the difference? The one I had I wouldn't call generic it wasn't cheap if I remember correctly. I had it for my mustang, I do remember it was specific for my car.

The difference being that i couldn't tell whether you were responding to the "wheelskins" directly as a review or some other manufacturer. And that, as i mentioned, there are a lot of crappy ones out there.

I'm trying to find a good one... i figure good ones have to exist... they all can't be crap, right?

I have considered wheelskins a few times now, but I just don't like how it looks. Granted it is better than every other wheel cover. I have decided I will bring mine into an upholstery shop soon and have them recover it for me, but this time in REAL leather.

I bought a Jeep wheel cover, I guess from Autozone, a while back. It was easy to clean, and had 'JEEP' on it - so it made me happy. The OEM steering was so thin, it needed to be a little thicker... So it served to purposes.
