    Rear Storage Area

A while ago I built a little platform to replace the stock jack/tool storage area plastic pieces.. I built it with stuff I had laying around so it wasn't really ideal. So today I bought some steel and fabbed up some brackets to hold the stock plastic cover in place.

    Bracket

Stock piece in place with all kinds of extra storage space

To clarify.... you basically removed the base of the storage area and then made a bracket to hold the cover in place where it normally would sit, right?

Yes which opens a lot of storage space because that big plastic mess is huge.

Any pictures with the cover removed? I wonder if you could fit one of those smaller 2-1/4 jacks in there (i have scissor jacks). Also would help fit my recovery straps that i like having on hand in winter..

Don't mind the messy wires... It's about 6" from the floor to the cover.
