It was in the 50's and some rain 'til the storms hit. Since Wednesday, it's snowed about 6" here which is a disaster for the "non-snow people" (diplomat speak for California transplants) around here. Last night, it got down to 15 degrees, and rained. The packed snow is now ice-encased. People in cars can hardly get moving. I pulled out two stuck cars here at work when I got here this morning. We sent home everyone who doesn't have a mongo-4x4.

There's supposed to be more snow tonight, then warm up to the 40's on Saturday, (which will create floods) then storm again on Sunday. We'll see. In the meantime, it's mostly 4x4's driving around town as just about everything other than 711's and video stores are closed.

Here's my XK sitting outside the shop yesterday. And I LOVE those Toyo M/T's. They're like saw blades in this stuff!
